Howlett Memorial Warden All Breed Horse Show
Rules & Regulations
- This show is run similar to the rules of the C.E.F. It shall be the responsibility of each exhibitor to have full knowledge of the classes in which he/she is showing. Anyone not abiding by the rules will be disqualified. The decision of the Judge, Steward, and Show Committee is final.
- Stallions are not to be handled by anyone under the age of 18 years.
- Classes may be cancelled, combined or further divided at the discretion of the Show Committee (3 or less horses in a class).
- Post entries will be accepted the day of the show up to 8:00 a.m. at DOUBLE THE ENTRY FEE. Entry fee payable to the Warden Horse Show. Any entries unsigned will be disqualified and refused entry to the ring.
- A Veterinarian or Doctor’s certificate is mandatory for refund of entry fees. All classes otherwise must be paid in full.
- AGE: As of January 1st of the current year. Birthday must be on entry form. Pee Wee - 9 years and under, Junior - 10 to 13 years, Intermediate 14 to 17 years; Seniors 18 years and over.
- Maiden Horse - not to have won a 1st place at any other show.
- Junior Horse - horse to be 4 years old and under.
- Three (3) minute gate only on request. All scratched horses and classes to be reported to the Gateman.
- Inhumane treatment will not be tolerated and unruly horses may be excused from the ring.
- Ponies must be under 14.2 hands.
- For Lead Line class, the horse must have a halter and lead shank and riders must be 2 to 5 years. Riders MUST wear a Helmet.
- Trail Time Limit is three (3) minutes and three (3) refusals per obstacle.
- The Warden Horse Show Committee Members, Directors, or affiliates of the Warden Horse Show will NOT be held responsible or liable in any manner for any or all accident(s) or injury(s) to any person(s) of any extent including participant(s) of the show or spectator(s); damage or theft of any person(s) material or equipment or any other possessions owned, rented, or loaned to any person(s) who are on the premises where the Warden Horse Show is located for the duration of the Warden Horse Show.
- The Warden Horse Show Committee will endeavour to prevent the loss of, or damage to, any exhibit, but will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur.
- No cross entries are permitted (excluding classes #41 and #27).
- Cattle Penning will be held in accordance with the Canadian Team Penning Association General Rules and Regulations with two (2) go-rounds.
- Cutting horses are to be on the grounds by 8:00 a.m. Entries must be paid by 8:15 a.m. Cattle draw will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Cutting classes to start at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Sunday July 22, 2007.
- Patterns (Reining and Trail) to be posted one (1) hour prior to the class.
- Protests must be made to the Show Secretary within 48 hours of the class and must be in writing and accompanied by $50.00 cash.
- Barrel racing will be run under ABRA rules and full dress must be worn.
ALL FORMS MUST BE SIGNED BEFORE ENTERING THE SHOW RING
Arena and concession will be open from 8:00 a.m. both days.
